Yoga
Eleanor began her study of integrated movement as a dancer in NYC, studying many forms of dance including ballet, and modern to jazz and ethnic styles of dance. As a performing artist, I found it difficult to control my nerves. Yoga provided me an opportunity to control my nerves. Iyengar yoga, with the attention to alignment and therapeutic benefits, allowed me a method of working with clients who had chronic ailments.
Eleanor Harris is registered with the National Yoga Alliance as a teacher trainer, with more than 20 years of experience. Harris began her study of Yoga in New York City in 1987, studying with Mary Dunn, Manouso Manos, Ramanand Patel, Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten. She is methodical in teaching and brings clarity in the instruction of Yoga.
Eleanor is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor who is registered with Yoga Alliance as a teacher trainer. Eleanor is currently studying teacher training with Shiva Rhea, a highly acclaimed vinyasa flow instructor. Eleanor is a certified Peak Pilates instructor who trains clients in mat and on the reformer. Eleanor has studied Watsu, a method of water therapy. Eleanor has also studied Continumum with Emillie Conrad.
